Our organization operates through the following branches: Hispanic Heritage Awards The Hispanic Heritage Awards and Ceremony, which began as a small White House ceremony commemorating the creation of Hispanic Heritage Month in 1987, are now recognized as the most prestigious Hispanic honor and event in America and serves as a culmination of HHF’s year-round efforts. Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards The Hispanic Heritage Youth Awards were founded in 1998 to identify and promote the next generation of Hispanic leaders and role models by celebrating their accomplishments in the classroom and community. Having honored more over 1,500 students and awarded more than $3,000,000 in educational grants, this national leadership program annually identifies and honors young role models from 12 regions who apply for awards in various categories of focus. LOFT (Latinos on Fast Track) Program The LOFT (Latinos on Fast Track) program was created by the Hispanic Heritage Foundation to systematically prepare, connect and places young leaders as they transition from high school, to college and graduate school, and well into their careers. Through LOFT, students and young professionals participate in more than 30 LOFT events including leadership trainings, field-tailored symposia and workshops including STEM (science, technology, engineering, math), finance, entrepreneurship, public policy, education, entertainment, media and social innovation among other priority fields. LOFT also focuses on addressing issues such as financial literacy, healthy lifestyles, upward mobility the public and private sectors and the importance of building a network.
