Code as a Second Language (CSL) is a national initiative that was launched in an effort to engage, introduce youth to computer programming. The goal is to supply students with an introductory skillset of web-design and computer programming, while instilling an entrepreneurial spirit. CSL provides students with access to year-round leadership and workforce development opportunities.
Through the Empowering Latinas scholarship and mentorship program, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation in partnership with Century 21 Real Estate, support Latina female entrepreneurs by giving them 70 study grants that will enable them to obtain their Real Estate Agent License, so they can start a successful business.
The Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s award-winning LOFT SOURCE program has worked with companies such as Exxon Mobil, CVS Health, Google, Time Warner, Target, PwC, LinkedIn, BBVA Compass, Goldman Sachs, and government agencies such as CFPB, SEC Treasury and Federal Exchange to diversify their workforce through a “delivery system of Latino Talent,” tailored platforms, and concurrent branding effort.
LOFT Labs is an international initiative of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation focused on providing support for Latino/a founded start-ups. LOFT Labs was established in 2014, with the primary goal of supporting talented Latino/a start-ups build, grow, and thrive.
