| Nicolas Altemose, the Chaparral High School Valedictorian, has a perfect 4.0 GPA, and received a perfect 2400 SAT score. In addition to several other academic awards and distinctions, Nick serves as the vice president of his school’s National Honor Society and has 600 service hours with the local library. In fond remembrance of his late Bolivian grandmother who died of cancer, Nick aspires to be a cancer researcher so that he can help find a cure. He will begin that journey when he starts classes at Duke University in the fall. |
