Of Columbian and Lebanese descent, Ilona Juan has played varsity volleyball, basketball, and track for four years. She was a two-year captain, MVP for volleyball and basketball, and was named the Female Scholar Athlete of South Dade Senior High School. In addition to volunteer work with Pet Rescue, the Homestead Soup Kitchen, and tutoring, Ilona is her class Valedictorian with an unweighted 4.0, but a 6.167 weighted GPA – the highest in her school’s history. She will attend Brown University in the fall.
