Albert Matthew Parisi-Esteves of Rochester, New York, attends Brighton High School, where he holds a perfect 4.0 GPA. Of Puerto Rican and Italian descent, Albert is an AP student, a delegate to the Hispanic Youth Leadership Institute, the recipient of a New York Press Association Scholarship, and was elected to the Democrat and Chronicle’s Editorial Board. Albert sees journalism as his medium for expression his passion about the Hispanic community. As a newspaper writer, he has documented the struggles of migrant workers, advocated for greater Hispanic representation in higher education, and even interviewed Hillary Clinton. Albert will major in Journalism and Latin American Studies at Cornell University. |
