San Antonio’s Yadira Torres attends South San West Campus High School, where he holds a perfect 4.0 GPA. Of Mexican descent, Yadira is an AP and Dual Credit student who serves as Senior Class President and JROTC Battalion Commander. She has received First Place in District Ready Writing UIL and Superintendent JROTC’s Highest Scholastic Average. He is a 1^st Six Weeks Business Communications Star Student and made the Spring President’s Part Time Honors List. As one of only 40 students statewide to participate in the University of Texas at Austin’s McComb’s Future Executive Academy, Yadira found his drive to aspire to a career in marketing. As the first in his family to attend college, he will pursue this dream as a Business Marketing major at the University of Texas at Austin.
