Raquel Goya of Phoenix attends Pinnacle High School, where she has a perfect 4.0 GPA. Of Mexican and German descent, Raquel is an AP and Superintendent’s Honor Roll student. She has been named a Phoenix Outstanding Young Woman of the Year for District 2, a Prudential Spirit of Community State Honoree, a Kohl’s Kids Who Care Regional Winner, and is the recipient of an Alexander Hamilton National Citizenship Achievement Award. An aspiring elementary school teacher, Raquel hopes to infuse a love of learning in her students and provide them with a sense of responsibility and accomplishment. She combined her passion for teaching and love of dance to found the Dance ‘n’ Fun Girls, a community service-focused performance group. Raquel will study Sociology and Spanish at Stanford University. |
