| Claudia Patricia MacMaster?s writing has always been her love in both English and Spanish. Several of her works have been published in the school?s Literary Magazine and have earned her numerous prizes. In addition, she took first place in 1999 in her school?s Novice Debate Competition. Her expertise in journalism has shone through her outstanding job as editor-in-chief for the school?s newspaper, The Grotto. Claudia has truly demonstrated her gift as a writer and is considered by her English Teacher, Mary Albanese, to be among the top two or three students whom she has taught in her eleven years as a high school English teacher, ?Claudia?s ability to express her thoughts in writing was evident in her essays and creative writing arrangements.
