Alana describes herself as having a lacrosse stick in her hands seven days a week and the countless hours of practice culminated in the signing of her National Letter of Intent to play NCAA Division 1 lacrosse for Davison College. Among her numerous athletic accolades, Alana has been honored as an All American Lacrosse player, 3 time First Team All League Player and 2nd Team Hall of Champions Player. Off of the field, Alana manages to maintain an astonishing 4.775 GPA while taking an impressive load of AP classes and holding several leadership roles in campus clubs and organizations. Alana is the Editor-in-Chief of her high school Yearbook, a three year member of the Ambassador’s Club, three year Class Officer and two year member of the National Honor Society. Just as impressive as her commitment to academics and school involvement is her dedication to community service. Alana also finds time to coordinate her family’s participation in the Christmas Adopt-a-Family program and serve as an assistant coach to a youth lacrosse team. Of Mexican descent, Alana will attend Davidson College to pursue a degree in Economics or Government Policy. |
