| Of Spanish and Mexican descent, Joshua Aguilar will graduate with over 30 hours of college coursework and a 3.9 GPA. An active member of the 4-H club, Joshua Aguilar has been honored with the organization’s Gold Star Award, Macomb Community Service Award and has won 2 State Championships in the 4-H Educational Presentation Competition. This year, Joshua developed and lead a countywide 4-H project in which 4,000 Valentines were collected and delivered to veterans in an effort to express appreciation for their service. Drawn by the field’s ability to have a meaningful impact on the quality of life of many, Joshua will pursue a career in nanotechnology. In the fall he will begin studying towards a degree in Chemical Engineering at the Texas A&M university. |
