Natasha Duran plans to evolve her passion of drawing as she pursues a challenging profession as an architect.  Natasha?s strong will has allowed her to overcome a series of personal obstacles including Attention Deficit Disorder and a challenging home life in pursuit of her dreams. ?Natasha has a gift of drawing that brightens everyone?s days,? says her mother Jace ? whether it?s helping her siblings draw cards for family members or as a way to express her love of life, this award will allow Natasha to flourish as an artist.? Her Visual Arts instructor also knows of Natasha?s love of art, ?she is concise, detailed, neat, and very creative in her art work.?  Natasha?s intelligence and determination is exemplified through her strong grades, membership in the Renaissance Club, the Gymnastics team and the Cheerleading squad. As a squad member, she received awards for her Spirit and Dedication.  Natasha attends Arizona State University to pursue a degree from the College of Architecture.  Natasha and her family are extremely proud of her accomplishments and that she will be the first in their family to attend college.
