SHORTSHD and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) invite you and a guest to join us tomorrow, February 23, 2017 for a special screening at the Ray Kurtzman Theatre at CAA in Los Angeles featuring finalists from the Hispanic Heritage Short Film Competition this past year!

In partnership with SHORTSHD, the world’s only Short Movie Channel, this past September at the Hispanic Heritage Awards the winners of the Hispanic Heritage Short Film Award Competition were announced.

Join us as we will be having a special screening featuring the five finalist films including Marcelo Mitnik’s In The Clouds, and Santiago Paladines’ The Fare.

Other 2016 finalists include Esteban Arango’s Blast Beat, Director, Carlos Mendoza Guillen’s Happy Birthday, Director, and Francisco Lorit’s Mediation, Writer/Director.

The competition received over 900 film submissions of which the overall grand prize winners were Marcelo Mitnik and Santiago Paladines. The two finalists received industry recognition, exposure to decision makers for TV broadcast deals, and a round table discussion with studio executives and experts.

Latino short films directors, producers, and writers should be recognized, and HHF is honored to pay tribute to the tremendous talent that we have in our community! Latinos everywhere should be encouraged to enter the entertainment industry, as the Latino representation in Hollywood needs to grow.

There will also be a reception with the filmmakers following the screening. We hope that you will be able to join us for what is gearing up to be a great event!

If you and a guest would like to attend the film screening please RSVP here!
