TikTok and Hispanic Heritage Foundation announce year-round partnership including Hispanic Heritage Awards PBS broadcast
Social Investment of $750,000 to Support Youth Education, Workforce and Entrepreneurship Programs, and Leadership Development
WASHINGTON, DC – The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) announced a year-round partnership with TikTok today which will include the 33rd Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards, youth education and workforce programs, entrepreneurship, content creation and leadership development. TikTok is investing $750,000 into the expansive partnership.
TikTok will support the Hispanic Heritage Awards PBS broadcast on October 6th at the Diamond Level in honoring and celebrating Latino accomplishment, vision, and culture for Hispanic Heritage Month. TikTok will also present the Vision Medallion category honoring music artist and activist Bad Bunny who will be joined by Linda Ronstadt (Legend), Selena Gomez (Arts), Jessica Alba (Business), America’s farmworkers (Heroes), Sebastian Yatra (Inspira), and John Lewis (Ally Recognition).

The Hispanic Heritage Awards will kick off TikTok’s year-round support of the mission of HHF and will include the Youth Awards, Code as a Second Language (CSL), the LOFT (Latinos On Fast Track) Leadership Institute, increase and bolster Latino representation as content creators, and entrepreneurs. Details of the programmatic support will be released as the programs launch through the end of the year.
