HHF’s Marketing & Communications Strategist Panelist at 2017 Mujer Summit

HHF’s Marketing & Communications Strategist, Cynthia Pleitez spoke at the 2017 Mujer Summit at the Source in Orange County! The Summit was a one-day event serving as a platform to engage women from all backgrounds with some of today’s most influential local leaders.

Cynthia has spearheaded the Marketing and Communications department at HHF the last year, and has extensive background in various fields. Through her vision and leadership, HHF’s social media presence has grown and hit many milestones the last year, including being awarded the 2017 Non-Profit Campaign of the Year Award for our 29th Anniversary Hispanic Heritage Awards campaign, a campaign she oversaw. She provided participants at the Summit with perspective on her own personal journey, challenges she faced along the way and tips on work- life balance.

Topics that were discussed included entrepreneurship, education and STEM, economic empowerment, women in leadership, health and wellness, mentorship and networking. This Summit provided professionals, students and other participants with the opportunity to not only learn from each other, but the opportunity to relax and reflect on one’s own ideas and goals.

Cynthia is committed to telling stories that represent the value proposition of diverse audiences.
