The Hispanic Heritage Foundation Announces Its Sponsors for the 39th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards

WASHINGTON, DC – The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) announced today the sponsors for the 39th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards. Presented by Target and hosted by Google, the Awards are widely recognized as “America’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration.”

For the first time, HHF will move the historic Awards ceremony from Washington, D.C., to Minneapolis, honoring the People of Minnesota with the Humanitarian Award.

The ceremony will take place at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis on September 10 and will be available to stream on PBS.org and the PBS app during Hispanic Heritage Month.

The 2026 Hispanic Heritage Awards Honorees include Singer/Musician Oscar D’León (Legend Award); Rapper Eladio Carrión (Inspira Award); Rep. Joaquin Castro (Public Service Award); Singer-Songwriter Mon Laferte (Social Justice Award); Singer-Songwriter-actress Ximena Sariñana (Music Award); and the People of Minnesota (Humanitarian Award). The 39th Annual Hispanic Heritage Awards will feature special performances by Ximena Sariñana, Mon Laferte, Eladio Carrión, and Los Tigres del Norte, and will be hosted by Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, one of today’s most successful voices in comedy.
