HHF’s President & CEO Attends AJC National Leadership Council Advocacy Fly In

The Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s (HHF) President and CEO, Antonio Tijerino attended the AJC National Leadership Council (NLC) Advocacy Fly In as part of the Latino Jewish Committee in Washington, DC.

NLC members will be empowered to advocate with members of Congress, discuss world issues with officials, diplomats and meet and connect with other NLC members from across the country. The AJC NLC Advocacy Fly In allows members to  voice their concerns with legislators in Washington, DC. 

Today’s schedule included a breakfast at the Grand Hyatt, ‘From Conversation to Action,’  a conversation on best practices in Advocacy with Representative Brad Schneider (D-IL), Amb. David O’Sullivan, and Amb. Mari Carmen Aponte (Grand Hyatt).

A conversation ‘Defend our Values, Define our World,’ explored America’s influence in global engagement. Craig Kennedy, Senior Fellow at the Hudson Institute, President of the German Marshall Fund of the United States (1995-2014); Amb. Dan Kurtzer and Amb. Victoria Nuland (U.S. Institute of Peace) led the conversation.
