Greater Washington DC Area Leaders Honored for their Commitment to Business and Community by Presenting Sponsor Capital One Bank and other Partners
WASHINGTON, D.C. (13 October, 2014) – The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) honored the recipients of the Hispanic Business Community Awards who were honored during a reception and ceremony on October 29, 2014 at the Capital One Bank headquarters in McLean, Virginia. The Awards recognized the impact of Latino leaders on the Greater Washington DC through their commitment to business and the community.
The Hispanic Business Community Awards honorees included:
- Mario Acosta-Velez, Chairperson of the Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Director, State Government Affairs, Verizon – Non-Profit Leadership
- Juan Sepúlveda, Senior Vice President, Station Services of PBS – Individual Leadership
- Jacqueline Krick, President & CEO of ECU Communications – Small Business Leadership
- Nicole Quiroga, General Manager at Telemundo Washington WZDC/WZTD Richmond, VA – Public Service Leadership
- Lori Kaplan, President & CEO of the Latin American Youth Center – Community Champion
