Hispanic Heritage Foundation announces Tapestry’s David Casey to join Board of Directors

WASHINGTON, DC  – The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) today announced Tapestry’s David Casey will join the nonprofit’s Board of Directors. David serves as Tapestry’s Chief Inclusion and Social Impact Officer, after joining Tapestry from CVS Health, where he was Senior Vice President of Workforce Strategies and Chief Diversity Officer.

“The Hispanic Heritage Foundation just got stronger as an organization and a Board with the addition of David Casey,” said Jose Antonio Tijerino, President and CEO, and Board Member of HHF. “David has supported HHF through his leadership as a corporate partner for many years and now we will leverage his expertise and vision to make a broader impact on our communities and America.”

David has global responsibility for continuing to shape and deliver Tapestry’s Equity, Inclusion and Diversity strategy and leads Tapestry’s Social Impact programs through advocacy, philanthropy and community engagement. With more than twenty years of experience as a corporate chief diversity officer, he has served and currently serves in an advisory and board director capacity for several national and local organizations, including Disability: IN (co-chair of the Disability Equality Index), the American Lung Association, appointment to the U.S. Secretary of Labor’s Advisory Council on Apprenticeship and the Indianapolis and Eastern Massachusetts affiliates of the National Urban League. David is also an eight-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, having served in Operation Desert Storm.
