LOFT Coder Summit | DTLA
We are only two days away from the Latinos on Fast Track (LOFT) Coder Summit in Los Angeles, sponsored by AT&T, The Walt Disney Company and Infosys Foundation USA. The Summit is part of HHF’s broader Code as a Second Language (CSL) initiative with a goal continuing to cultivate the community of Latino software engineers. Join us this Saturday from 8 am to 4 pm at 333 S. Grand Ave. in Downtown LA.
If you are a student, professional or a full-time developer, join us for a day of workshops, presentations and networking. Workshops range from Virtual Reality, iOS Development, Data Mining and launching your career as a software engineer.
Speakers include Ana-Sheila Victorino, Product Manager at Symantec, Esteban Uribe, IOS Engineer at Tinder, Adriana Martinez, Director of External Affairs- Statewide Relations at AT&T. Other speakers include Barney Santos, Head of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at Cal State LA and Gregorio Rojas, Co-Founder of Sabio.
By mobilizing Latino/a coders, programmers, hackers and computer scientists for this free, one-day event with top Latino leaders, HHF and sponsors are spearheading national change! The Summit mobilizes our network of Latino software engineers ready to introduce computer programming to under-represented students across the country.
HHF’s LOFT Coder Summits have also taken place in Austin at SXSW, NY, University of Texas RGV, and LA. HHF is constantly working on bringing our LOFT Coder Summits to a city near you. Check out these photos from our LOFT Coder Summit at Stanford University.
