Visión Verde is a multi-year platform sponsored by Bacardi U.S.A., Inc., designed to empower Latinx/Hispanic entrepreneurs within the beverage alcohol service, sales, and hospitality industries. In its second year, Visión Verde grant will be awarded to 10 deserving recipients across the U.S., each receiving $10,000 to fund initiatives that promote sustainability and environmental impact through education and mentorship.

All applicants of the Visión Verde grant will have access to Coctelería Consciente, a Hispanic-owned sustainability consultancy specializing in the hospitality sector, offering actionable recommendations to drive positive sustainability impact through one hour sessions. Coctelería Consciente will help each of the grant recipients with specific initiatives that can be introduced with the Vision Verde grant funding.

Eligibility Requirements:

To participate in the Visión Verde Grant and to be considered as a potential grantee, the entrant must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Applicants must be a US resident physically residing in the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, and all US territories.
  • Business must be majority Latino/Hispanic owned (at least 51%)
  • Applicants must be authorized personnel that have permission to submit the Visión Verde grant and can share additional information about the business upon request.
  • Applicants must provide accurate and truthful information in their application. Misrepresentation of information may result in disqualification. This includes the use of Artificial Intelligence.
  • Applicants must engage with various elements of the program, such as commit to watching the trainings on their own time, engaging with Hispanic Heritage Foundation & Bacardi team on communication creation.

About Coctelería Consciente | Conscious Cocktails (cocteleriaconsciente.org)

Coctelería Consciente is the sustainability consultancy partner for the Visión Verde project. The Argentina based organization is focused on inserting sustainability into the DNA of the beverage industry with the goal of raising awareness about key concepts such as environment, sustainability, circular economy, healthy habits, responsible consumption and social responsibility. With expertise in the hospitality sector, having worked with; bars, restaurants and hotel chains, Coctelería Consciente will support Visión Verde grant recipients by providing individualized guidance on the most impactful use of the grant as well as offering insight into sustainability improvements that can be made alongside the grant project.
