The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) had its own Latinos on Fast Track (LOFT) Stage at Locales Festival in Miami!

Locales Festival featured multiple stages with performances by several artists and Fat Joe closed out the festival along with a surprise appearance by Marc Anthony!

Miami locals, tourists and others enjoyed the day long music and arts festival. As a nonprofit sponsor, HHF was honored to feature a variety of talented up and coming artists on the LOFT Stage.

As the PR Coordinator for HHF, I had the pleasure of announcing the acts onto the LOFT stage and it was an experience I will forever treasure.

Opening the LOFT Stage included School of Rock, leader in performance-based music education, where students learn the guitar, bass, drums, vocals and put on shows at local venues.

Zander, singer- songwriter who has opened for Ziggy Marley, Weezer, Train and Fall Out Boy performed shortly after, and the LOFT Stage heard from DJ Musicat in between all the sets!

The LOFT Stage also showcased Valentina Rico, young Columbian singer-songwriter, and Penelope Robin, 8 year old performer from Miami. Latin Grammy nominated Manu Manzo, Venezuelan singer- songwriter closed out the LOFT Stage with a few of her original songs. In the evening, the main stage included performances by Alexis y Fido, Sharlene Taule, Locos Por Juana, Periko y Jessi Leon, and Fat Joe.

Locales Festival was a special day where Latinos showcased their amazing talent and celebrated Bayside Marketplace 30th birthday. Huge thank you to Locales Festival, creative director Milcho, and everyone who came out and celebrated the day with us!
