Celebrating its 10th year, the Hispanic Public Relations Association (HPRA) National ¡BRAVO! Awards are the most prestigious awards in Hispanic communication: the highest accolade in the Hispanic PR industry. Last night HHF took home the 2017 Non-Profit Campaign of the Year Award for our 29th Anniversary Hispanic Heritage Awards campaign!

The Fourth Annual ¡BRAVO! Awards Gala took place at in New York City at the Lotte New York Palace. HPRA’s ¡Bravo! Campaign Awards provides a forum that reflects the innovative, creative, and cultural competence of Hispanic/Latino campaigns recognized by the industry’s leading professional Hispanic organizations.

HHF is honored to have won this prestigious award in recognition of the 2017 Non-Profit Campaign of the Year!  The Hispanic Heritage Award are considered among the highest honors for Hispanics by Hispanics. Top Latino performers payed tribute to the Honorees from the stage. 2016 HHA honorees included: Leadership, Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Literature, Junot Díaz, Arts, Fania All-Star, Legend | Angélica María, Vision, J Balvin , Wellness, Massy Arias, Technology, Tony Jimenez, STEM, Dr. Diana Natalicio , Business, George Herrera, Inspira, Prince Royce.

Marketing and Communications Strategist at HHF, Cynthia Pleitez, received the award on behalf of HHF’s President and CEO, Antonio Tijerino.“For the Hispanic Heritage Foundation to win The Hispanic Public Relations Association’s Bravo Award, the most prestigious award in the industry, to have our CEO’s leadership and our work recognized in front of the top communications professionals in the industry is the ultimate privilege ” said Cynthia.

“It is on us to tell our stories,” asserted Andy Checo, co-chairman of the HPRA National ¡BRAVO! Awards and senior director at Havas FORMULATIN. “The HPRA’s ¡BRAVO! Awards are a celebration of individuals who are shaping our future and impacting our community. We are honored to be recognizing Rosemary and Armando during this year’s event and to have Bryan and Gaby as the storytellers who will narrate the industry’s most prestigious awards program.”

All proceeds from this event are directly designated to HPRA’s professional development and educational programs.
