HHF’s Innovation & Technology Manager recently sat down with Telemundo in Los Angeles for a national segment on Latinos in the digital era!

Alberto, is Innovation & Technology Manager of HHF’s Code as a Second Language (CSL) national initiative that introduces computer programming to youth in several cities across the country through CSL Bootcamps, academies, LOFT Coder Summits and Jams.

CSL is national initiative that works toward introducing youth to computer science and making technical training and careers accessible to women and underrepresented minorities. CSL is committed to giving every student an opportunity to gain an introductory skill-set in computer science as a doorway to more advanced programming languages. Students also become part of HHF’s LOFT Network, where they build their own personal network needed to succeed once they finish school and start their careers.
