Alberto Avalos, a 26 year old Innovation and Tech manager at the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) will be interviewed by Jackeline Cacho, a popular L.A media personality tomorrow on Triunfo Latino!
He will speak about receiving The Coors Light Líder of the year award. Coors Light Líderes granted a $25,000 award to Ávalos nominating nonprofit, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, an organization that identifies, inspires, prepares and connects Latino leaders in the community.
“It is a pleasure to join Jackeline Cacho on her show Triunfo Latino this Saturday. Jackeline, who values the Latino community has dedicated her life to work with Latino leaders while showcasing and highlighting their skills across the United States,” said Alberto.
This award highlights the hard work and dedication that Alberto has had ever since he launched the first Hispanic Heritage Foundation in Los Angeles which is now a team of 8. Alberto, also spearheaded the Code as a Second Language (CSL) program, an innovative program that he oversees at HHF.
“I met Jackeline Cacho about 5 years ago as I was working on the 2013 Los Angeles Mayoral Campaign. Since then I’ve kept in contact, and up to date have followed her work. It’s an honor to be chosen to represent HHF as the 2016 Coors Light Líder of the Year. I’m excited to use the 25,000 grant to help my community create economic empowerment and influence throughout the community.”
