More than 50 students from Central Valley Schools at the The Ivy League Project (ILP) returned to The Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s Washington, D.C. headquarters today!
ILP was founded by Martín in 1992 to encourage economically disadvantaged students to apply to the most prestigious universities in the Nation. Those in attendance included Hector Araujo, and Elvis Cordova, Former Deputy Under Secretary for the Marketing and Regulatory Programs Mission Area at the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

This program selects the most talented and promising 10th and 11th grade students and takes them to visit the top universities on the east coast, it is important for the foundation to encourage actionable support!

ILP raises college awareness for Ivy League Schools at an early age so students could focus on their school of preference, and how they can make it into their school of preference.

In addition students will be able to tour the Statue of Liberty, historical Boston, and other historical sites in Washington, D.C. ILP announced more than 268 students over the past 24 years have been accepted or graduated from East Coast Schools during the past twenty-four years.

Students from ILP learned more about the Foundation, and all the work we do. Some of HHF’s programs include Code as a Second Language (CSL), Youth Awards, and ESA Video Game Innovation Fellowship!
