The Hispanic Heritage Awards are among the highest honors by Latinos for Latinos and are considered “America’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration” after being established in 1988 by the White House to commemorate the creation of Hispanic Heritage Month in America. The 2021 Hispanic Heritage Awards’ Honorees include: Carlos Santana (Legend), Ivy Queen (Vision), Salma Hayek (Arts), Coach Ron Rivera (Sports), Kali Uchis (Inspira), and NASA’s Clara O’Farrell, Christina Hernandez, and Diana Trujillo (STEM).  The Awards will also be doing a tribute to the 60th anniversary of West Side Story.

“The Hispanic Heritage Foundation is grateful to our longtime Presenting Sponsor Target, Broadcast Sponsor Nationwide, and Medallion Sponsors Boeing, Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, Southwest Airlines, AARP and all of our dedicated sponsors for once again joining us in shining a spotlight on the great value proposition we offer America through our Honorees and our culture overall,” said Jose Antonio Tijerino, President and CEO of the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. “Their support is even more appreciated as we continue to deal with health, economic and social issues during a time when many are stepping back – these corporate partners have stepped up.  Their support will have a tremendous impact on our community through our year-round mission beyond the Hispanic Heritage Awards.”
