Hispanic Heritage Foundation Investors Forum
The HHF Investors Forum is an initiative for Latino investors: trustees, investment staff, and asset managers. The Forum
- provides educational content on investments and asset management best practices,
- builds a diverse network of investors and asset managers, and
- creates a pipeline of Latinos to grow into trustee and senior investment roles.
We started the HHF initiative in 2014 conducted to fulfill the pillars from above.

Remarks of Past Attendees
“A group of freakishly smart Latino and Latina investors doing impressive things. All extremely humble and eager to learn about what everyone else is doing; less eager to talk about ourselves. Situated on a college campus, with some of our youth in attendance. Met some interesting GPs, a few peer LPs, and a couple of ambitious students. It was a good day. A very good day.”
– Al Hemmingsen, CIO of Parkland Management Company (Single Family Office)
“It was such a pleasure to attend the Hispanic Heritage Foundation 6th annual investment forum and be inspired by Latino power houses in Venture Capital and other finance fields. Shout out to Our 43rd US Treasurer, Rosie Rios, for getting her signature on our currency and inspiring the next generation of Latina leaders.”
– Janeth Medina, Assistant VP at Bank of the West
“HHF provided an incredible opportunity to learn from and connect with institutional investors, established and emerging managers, as well as establish new relationships in the industry. I look forward to utilizing everything gained to one day be in the position to give back in a meaningful way.”
– Jesse Rodriguez, Financial Analyst at Upwelling Capital Group
“Volunteering for The Hispanic Heritage Foundation Investors Forum allowed me to meet extraordinary kinds of people whom I’ve been lucky enough to establish mentorships with. With their guidance, I look forward to developing into not only a polished professional but a difference maker.”
