The Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) Investors Forum and REAL partnered to co-host The Latinx CRE Charla. The Charla was a discussion led primarily by investors actively deploying capital into real estate. It provided insight into our investor community as they make investment and allocation decisions, and decide whether or how to include real estate investments. It focused on 2022 CRE Outlook, investment opportunities/focus, and strategic/intentional objectives (ie. DEI, ESG, etc.)

Los Angeles Fire & Police Pension (LAFPP) and Fairview Capital invited investors to join the inaugural ‘Investing In Inclusion’ event. This virtual showcase highlighted the LAFPP Private Equity Specialized Manager Program. This unique opportunity provided access to key decision-makers including LAFPP commissioners and staff alongside the Fairview team. Additionally, GPs investing on behalf of this program profiled their strategies and insights to navigate the fundraising process. This interactive experience focused on nurturing the dialogue between institutional investors, asset managers, and diverse GPs in the mission to increase diverse manager investments.

Designed to showcase business opportunities with the Illinois Treasurer for Minority, Women, Veteran, and Disabled-owned (MWVD) investment firms and financial institutions. Attendees learned about Illinois Treasury’s focus on equity, diversity, and inclusion and the various investment programs that constitute their $35 billion investment portfolio.
